Proud To Be PRO-CHOICE

Recent polling data show that, for the first time in several years, the majority of people in the United States are "pro-life" and an overwhelming number of them are young people.

That is a significant national shift, they say. But I wonder if it really is a massive shift in ideology or if it is just the natural result of legalized abortion. Think about it; who aborts? Those who are "pro-infanticide."

So, in fact, they are baby killers who kill their babies and the pro-lifers are the ones who birth their babies. Sooner or later we should expect to have more conservatives than liberals.

Just for the record, I am pro-choice. That's right; you read it right. I AM PRO-CHOICE. I believe every baby ought to be allowed to live long enough to be able to choose for himself, if he wants to have his limbs ripped out or his brains sucked out.

Funny thing about "pro-choice" people (AKA supporters of baby dismemberment), if you try to rip off their limbs or suck out their brains they get all defensive.

Hypocrites!

Stan,

Not only that but they don't appreciate being poisoned with chemicals either. Go figure.

One more indication that what people say they believe and how they live their life are polls apart?

Many of these same pro-lifers voted in a President and whole host of liberals who believe murdering babies is okay. These same pro-lifers are increasingly turning to abortion, birth control, morning after pills, etc. as evidenced by the continuing drop in birth rates. These same pro-lifers ridicule large families and refuse to adopt the unwanted children of our country.

Sad. Maybe they should put their beliefs into action. I'm pro-life (or pro-choice according to Ralph's definition), but I'm pro-life in more than name-only.

oH, and right now statistics show that the highest birth rates in our country are found among unmarried 20-30 year old women. I'm not thinking that bodes well for future conservative Christians. Sigh.

Words used to mean what they meant. Now, certain words have come to mean what liberals want them to mean. "Choice," or a woman's right to "choose," is now a synonym for abortion. What a joke. What ever happened to the choice not to get pregnant in the first place? What ever happened to individual responsibility? What ever happened to morality? What ever happened to the fact that having a baby is also a choice? These people are not “pro-choice.” They are “pro-abortion.” It’s time we quit letting them hide behind words.

Back in the early 60's, abortion was presented as necessary because of rape, incest, severely handicapped babies caused by Thalidomide, etc., and the life of the mother being threatened. It is quite appropriate, in that context, to ask how many abortions are performed for those reasons. My guess is that such abortions would be under 1% of all that are done, mostly for convenience. While even those would still be morally wrong because they would be murder, such a limitation on abortion would long ago have prevented the current profitability of the abortion mills.

Anyone who foresaw the long-range implications of opening the door to abortion was called an alarmist, but look where things are today. We even have a president who is not only pro-abortion, but he is militantly and aggressively pro-abortion. Now those who say that easily available abortion will eventually lead to outright infanticide (already true in some cases) and euthanasia are likewise thought of as alarmists. All too often, the "alarmists" among us are right. We long ago stepped through the entrance of a brave new world where life becomes meaningless.

My father-in-law addressed the value of human life in his book, “An Introduction to the Christian School.” A brief section on this subject is posted at http://buffalonoise.blogspot.com/2009/05/nature-of-man.html.

I refer to the so-called "pro-choice" folks by what they really are:supporters of baby dismemberment.
