The world seems split in twain these days.
I wonder if previous generations could have imagined an America where
a group like the Tea Party would be vilified by so many of its
citizens?
The Tea Party has been very open and clear from the beginning what it’s about, and it has been mercilessly attacked for it.
The Occupy Wall Street movement, when it could find the ability to
articulate any goals, has stood up for everything that is opposed to
American traditions, yet it is glorified and held up as a model for
others.
The OWS movement is about redistribution of wealth, the growth of a
permanent underclass and the establishment of an authoritarian
government that will “look after” the details of individuals’ lives and
deaths. It’s socialism, and it’s President Obama.
The Tea Party stands for: lower taxes, constitutionally limited
government and fiscal responsibility. It’s God-given liberty, and it’s
the Founding Fathers.
If you like being told what to think, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like being told when to see a doctor or what care you may receive, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like being told what to eat, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like working hard only to give your paycheck to government, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like being categorized and used according to your race or
gender instead of your achievements, vote for Occupy, Obama and
socialism.
If you like seeing social institutions like marriage destroyed, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like being told what you can and can’t say, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like being lied to by the media, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like being told what kind of car you may drive, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like having some bureaucrat control your home thermostat and
telling you when you can use your appliances, vote for Occupy, Obama and
socialism.
If you like the thought of having the state raise your children, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like the idea of having the government control whether and
when you can have children, vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If you like the idea of having those who disagree with you “re-educated,” vote for Occupy, Obama and socialism.
If, on the other hand, you believe government should follow the Constitution, vote with the Tea Party.
If you believe taxes are too high and government needs to be cut way back, vote with the Tea Party.
If you believe all people are equal and should be judged by their
character and achievements rather than skin color and gender, vote with
the Tea Party.
If you believe that you are responsible for your own life and other people should butt out of it, vote with the Tea Party.
The Tea Party: It’s about freedom, stupid.
You got a problem with that?
