Poetry’s nice,
It’s quite the device
For speaking in language, sublime.
But seldom I rhyme;
I don’t have the time,
To fiddle with fluff, so concise.
Why be so terse,
And blather in verse,
That flows with cadence and beat?
I’d rather explete;
Use words more concrete,
So thoughts are made simple, not worse.
